Pet Wellbeing is a U.S.-based company offering holistic, veterinarian-formulated supplements for dogs and cats. Founded in 2001, it combines traditional herbal wisdom with modern science to address common pet health issues like anxiety, joint pain, and kidney support. Their product line includes herbal drops and plant-based chews, all crafted with natural ingredients and a commitment to sustainability.


Pet Wellbeing's commitment to quality and efficacy is reflected in its development process, which involves a team of holistic veterinarians and clinical herbalists.


With a focus on holistic care, Pet Wellbeing continues to be a trusted resource for pet owners seeking natural alternatives to support their pets' health.

Megha has been a major asset to us at Pet Wellbeing. From the very first design strategy she created for us, our brand started to elevate and has continued to refine over the past years that we have spent working together. She is very easy to communicate with and can turn any idea (however small or unrealized) into something special. Pet Wellbeing needed to establish a cohesive and conversion-driven brand presence across packaging, social media, and their website. Their existing experience lacked consistency and clarity, making it difficult for customers to understand the value of their vet-formulated natural products and confidently choose the right solution for their pets.


The goal was to create a unified brand and digital experience that could build trust, simplify product discovery, and streamline the purchase journey to drive stronger engagement and sales.

Brand Audit

Our brand audit examined the consistency of Pet Wellbeing’s visual identity and messaging across packaging, website, and social media.


We evaluated typography, colour systems, tone of voice, and overall brand cohesion. The analysis revealed inconsistencies in visual language and messaging, along with opportunities to strengthen credibility, warmth, and brand recall across touchpoints.


Following observations were made -

Lack of Emotional Connection

Visuals didn’t reflect warmth and care. Pet Wellbeing largely caters to pets with serious or terminal illnesses and their current brand language was not soft enough to accommodate that.

Inconsistent Visual Language

Brand collaterals across different platforms didn’t look cohesive, hence hindering brand recognition and user trust.

No Clear Pet Segmentation

Packaging lacked distinct visual cues to differentiate between products for dogs and cats, which could lead to customer confusion and hinder shelf navigation.

Cluttered Packaging Hierarchy

Product benefits and key messaging were not immediately scannable, making it hard for customers to understand the value proposition quickly.

UX Audit

Our UX audit evaluated how effectively the website supported product discovery, education, and purchase decisions in the natural pet wellness space.


We assessed navigation clarity, content hierarchy, product categorisation, and the balance between educational information and conversion elements. The review identified friction in product discovery, dense information on product pages, and opportunities to improve trust signals and mobile usability.


Following observations were made -

Poor Homepage Hierarchy

Homepage content lacked a consistent flow. Important information like featured products, benefits, or credibility markers got lost or felt randomly placed.

Missing Trust Signals

There was little reassurance for new users. No visible indicators of vet approval, customer reviews, or money-back guarantees, which are key for conversion in health and wellness markets.

Broken & Misleading CTAs

Several buttons were either non-functional or linked to irrelevant pages, creating frustration and drop-offs in the user journey.

Weak Header Messaging

The header failed to communicate the brand’s value proposition. The primary CTA was misaligned with user intent, redirecting users to a secondary page instead of letting users know what problems they were solving for them.

Cluttered Navigation

The top navigation lacked structure and was very confusing, making it difficult for users to quickly find specific product categories. Key pages were buried or inconsistently labeled.

Frustrating Search Experience

Upon inspection of heatmaps, it was found that a lot of people came on the website to look for specific products, but the search tool led users into dead ends or irrelevant results. Journeys often broke mid-way, which was frustrating for users.

Competitive Analysis

We conducted a comprehensive competitive analysis for direct and indirect competitors to understand where Pet Wellbeing stood in comparison.

The final UI focused on making natural pet health solutions easier to explore and understand for pet parents with varying levels of familiarity with supplements and wellness products. We prioritised clarity, visual hierarchy, and guided navigation across key discovery and purchase journeys.


Decision fatigue was reduced by simplifying product categorisation, highlighting core benefits upfront, and structuring information progressively rather than overwhelming users with dense medical details.


A cohesive design system ensured consistency across web, packaging, and social assets, with a mobile-first approach to optimise readability, trust signals, and seamless shopping across devices.
